22 of the best "bromances" in TV and movies

PasteMagazine.com has put together a list of The 22 Best 'Bromances' in Movies & TV.  The site says, quote, "We're officially in the Age of the Bromance, celebrating a deep, platonic love between two or more male characters.

"The men involved often have:  Nicknames for each other, shared emotional moments, and a seemingly infinite capacity for ball-busting insult humor.  Nevertheless, they're always there for each other with a commendable loyalty."

Here are the ones they came up with:

1.  Joey and Chandler from "Friends"

2.  Turk and J.D. from "Scrubs"

3.  Kirk and Spock from "Star Trek"

4.  Andy and Red from "The Shawshank Redemption"

5.  Woody and Buzz Lightyear from "Toy Story"

6.  Troy and Abed from "Community"

7.  Will and Chickie from "Good Will Hunting"

8.  Michael and Dwight from "The Office"

9.  Dean and Castiel from "Supernatural"

10.  Harry and Lloyd from "Dumb and Dumber"

11.  Wayne and Garth from "Wayne's World"

12.  Andy and Barney from "The Andy Griffith Show"

13.  Phil, Stu, Doug and Alan from "The Hangover"

14.  Seth and Evan from "Superbad"

15.  Cory and Shawn from "Boy Meets World"

16.  Harold Lee and Kumar Patel from "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle"

17.  Stan and Kyle from "South Park"

18.  Roger Murtaugh and Martin Riggs from "Lethal Weapon"

19.  Felix Ungar and Oscar Madison from "The Odd Couple"

20.  Brian Piccolo and Gayle Sayers from "Brian's Song"

21.  Alan Shore and Denny Crane from "Boston Legal"

22.  Peter Klaven and Sydney Fife from "I Love You, Man"

(It's unclear why they settled on 22 entries . . . but one possibility is that "22" is the atomic number for TITANIUM, which is used as a strengthening agent in graphite composite fishing rods and golf clubs.)

(And NOTHING says BROMANCE like fishing and golf.  Not to overthink this or anything.)  (???)
