  • Larry Hagman ("Dallas," "I Dream of Jeannie") has died at age 81 from complications of cancer.
  • Fiona Apple has asked fans to forgive her for canceling her upcoming tour, but she needs to attend to her dying dog.
  • Larry Hagman, best remembered as J.R. Ewing from the TV show, "Dallas", died over the weekend. Two of his Dallas co-stars, Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy, were by his bedside when he passed. He was 81 and had already taped several more appearances on the revived version of Dallas on TBS, coming up next year.
  • Demi Moore is said to put the delay game into effect, regarding her divorce from Ashton Kutcher, supposedly because she's upset about his current relationship with Mila Kunis.
  • Rapper 50 Cent has gotten his promoter's license and is going to try his hand at being a boxing promoter in Las Vegas.
  • Jon Bon Jovi is going to tour in 2013, with concert tickets starting at just $19.50.
  • 42.2 million Americans relied on food stamps to enjoy their Thanksgiving dinner.
  • Chevy Chase has left the TV show "Community" and won't be back.
  • Jurors awarded nearly $777,000 Tuesday to Brandi Cochran, a former "The Price is Right" model who claimed she was discriminated against by producers because of her pregnancy.
  • After winning a Massachusetts congressional seat, Joseph Kennedy III is going to get married this Saturday, out in Newport Beach, California. Lots of life changes.
  • Anne Hathaway has said in two different interviews she's ready for a baby. I'm pretty sure she'll get what she wants.
  • Scott Weiland of the Stone Temple Pilots is ready for marriage number 3 and has gotten engaged to photographer Jamie Wachtel.
  • After just two seasons, Starz has canceled Kelsey Grammer's series, "Boss."
  • One of the original Mousketeers, Bonita Lynn Fields Elder, who wore the name "Bonnie" on her shirt, has died at age 68 in Indiana.
  • After falling to being TV's network doormat, NBC won the November ratings sweeps for the first time in 9 years.
  • Just days after canceling "American Chopper," the Discovery Channel is also dropping "Dirty Jobs."
  • Mayim Bialik announced the day before Thanksgiving that she and husband Michael Stone are divorcing after nine years of marriage.
  • IT'S CYBER MONDAY _ Today is Cyber Monday, the traditional beginning of the online Christmas shopping season -- when consumers return to work and spend their days ordering online.

  • ONLINE BLACK FRIDAY SALES TOPPED $1 BILLION _ Black Friday retail sales online this year topped $1 billion for the first time ever. Online sales jumped 26 percent on Black Friday to $1.04 billion from sales of $816 million on the corresponding day last year.
  • CHOCOLATE THAT DOESN'T MELT _ British scientists have developed a new melt-proof recipe for chocolate. The heat-tolerant chocolate, developed by Cadbury engineers, remains solid even when exposed to temperatures in excess of 104 degrees (40 degrees Celsius) for more than three hours.
  • MAN FENDS OFF BURGLAR WITH BOW AND ARROW _ A 75-year-old California man heard his dog barking. Fearing his home was being burgled -- again -- he picked up a bow and arrow and aimed it at his alleged thief, who fled.
  • STEVEN SPIELBERG WAS DENIED CHANCE TO DIRECT 007 FILM _ Steven Spielberg told a British newspaper when he asked the owners of the James Bond movie franchise if he could do a 007 film he was told no. He never asked again and instead made the Indiana Jones series.
  • This year's Black Friday saw its usual nationwide string of idiocy and violence.  A man in Massachusetts went home with the 51-inch TV he'd just bought at a K-Mart . . . but WITHOUT his girlfriend's two-year-old son.  Shoppers were robbed in South Carolina, Michigan, and Maryland.  And in Mississippi, someone dropped a stink bomb of hog pee in a Walmart to try to get other shoppers to leave. 
  • A new study has figured out the time of day you're going to DIE . . . assuming you don't die in some unpredictable way, like in a car accident or an orgy or something.  If you're a night owl, you're most likely to die just before 6:00 P.M.  If you're a morning person . . . or you're not a morning or a night person . . . you're most likely to die just before 11:00 A.M. 
  • A legal secretary in Massachusetts lost her job, and came up with a great way to get revenge on her former boss.  She opened a daycare right next door to his law office . . . so his sex offender clients can't meet with him without violating restraining orders. 
  • The latest Internet fad to attempt to top "planking" is called "milking" . . . you post photos of yourself pouring a half gallon of milk over your head, in different public places
  • BREAKING DAWN PART 2 WINS THANKSGIVING WEEKEND _ The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part 2 remained the No. 1 film over the Thanksgiving weekend, earning $66 million over five days. Skyfall came in second with Lincoln in third.
