WORKOUTS DO MORE FOR YOUR BRAIN THAN CROSSWORDS AND MOZART _ Doing puzzles and listening to classical music might improve your concentration momentarily, but they don't actually make you any smarter. That is, they don't improve your long-term brain function, according to Nicholas Spitzer, a professor of neuroscience at the University of California and editor-in-chief of BrainFacts.org. In a recent interview (with The Economist) Spitzer said, "Many people think classical music is going to enhance brain function or playing particular games sharpens one's cognitive function. These theories have been looked at in detail and they don't stand up." What does work? Exercise -- especially out in the sun.

MAN TICKETED FOR MAKING IT SNOW MONEY _ A Minnesota man who was down on his luck decided to spread some holiday cheer at the Mall of America on Friday by dropping 1,000 $1 bills from the fourth floor of the rotunda as a three-person choir sang Let It Snow. Police cited Serge Vorobyov for disorderly conduct, saying he was pulling a publicity stunt to get back together with his wife.

TV TONIGHT _ Best Funeral Ever is a new series (10p ET, TLC) that follows the Dallas-based Golden Gate Funeral Home and owner John Beckwith Jr., who along with his staff organize the most unique funerals in the country to celebrate life.

PAUL WALKER DEAD AFTER CAR CRASH _ Actor Paul Walker, best known for his role in the Fast and Furious franchise, died on Saturday afternoon after a single car accident in Valencia, California. He was 40 years old. Walker was a passenger in a friend's car, in which both lost their lives.

At a Walmart in Ohio, TWO different females were trampled in TWO different Black Friday stampedes.  One was an 11-year-old girl who was hospitalized and released.  The other was an elderly woman, whose condition hasn't been released.

On Thanksgiving, a 34-year-old man in Florida went to Best Buy's early Black Friday sale . . . and left his two-MONTH-old baby alone in his car.  A security guard ended up breaking the window to rescue the baby . . . and the man was arrested for felony child neglect.

This seems really high . . . but according to a new survey, 30% of people say they haven't seen a SINGLE one of their Facebook friends face-to-face in the past TWO MONTHS.  Although one in 10 people say they've seen 90% of their Facebook friends in the past two months.

Back on September 29th, around 1:00 A.M., a 23-year-old in Minnesota saw a newspaper truck idling and STOLE it.  When the police found him and the truck a few blocks away, he told them he'd stolen it because he was, quote, "running from zombies."  He was also VERY drunk, and was arrested for stealing a motor vehicle.

Just this year, the TSA has collected over $530,000 in CHANGE that passengers have left behind while going through airport security.

HUNGER GAMES, FROZEN SHATTER THANKSGIVING RECORD _ The Hunger Games: Catching Fire ate up $110.2 million over the five-day weekend, Wednesday to Sunday. Catching Fire had the fourth-biggest second weekend in history, behind The Avengers, Avatar, and The Dark Knight.
