SNAPCHATS DON'T DISAPPEAR _ A forensics examiner from Utah has made a discovery that may make some Snapchat users think twice before sending a photo. Richard Hickman of Decipher Forensics found that it's possible to pull Snapchat photos from Android phones simply by downloading data from the phone using forensics software. He's now testing iPhones for leftover photos.

RANDY JACKSON LEAVING AMERICAN IDOL _ Randy Jackson, the last original judge on American Idol, is leaving the show at the end of this season. Randy said in a statement: "Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to rest, after 12 years of judging on American Idol I have decided it is time to leave after this season."

AND THE MOST POPULAR BABY NAMES ARE _ The list of 2012"s most popular baby names is out. The Social Security Administration tracks baby name popularity in the U.S., and its annual list of most popular names is eagerly awaited by expectant parents looking for inspiration as well as by the parents of older children anxious to see whether their name choices are hot or not. Tops in 2012 were Jacob and Sophia.

Earlier this week, in South Carolina, a 32-year-old who lives with his mother was INFURIATED by the TV shows she was watching.  So he lugged their large, old school TV to the back yard . . . and set it on fire.  He was arrested for one count of vandalism. 

A three-year-old took $500 in cash out of her mom's pocket at a liquor store . . . and based on the surveillance video, a random guy who watched her do it then stole it from the little kid.
