  • Hoda Kotb is either shopping around for a new job or giving agent negotiating tools. She's been at meeting after meeting, looking at jobs other than her current one on "Today."
  • Nicole Kidman snuck in to film a cameo in the "Anchorman" sequel, along with Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson.
  • NBC's "America's Got Talent" is moving from New Jersey to New York City's Radio City Music Hall.
  • History Channel has ordered a 10-episode second season of "Vikings," its first scripted series.
  • Bravo has canceled Kathy Griffin's talk show after two seasons.
  • Yeah, that's Beyonce in a new singing and dancing Pepsi commercial.
  • Traffic at Zillow is up 55% over what it was last year at this time, meaning people are getting back into the house-buying mode.
  • "Game of Thrones" star Lena Headey is going through a divorce, living off credit cards to keep her and her son afloat and says she has "just $5 in the bank."
  • Irish actor Milo O'Shea has died from complications from Alzheimer's. He was 86.
  • Target is apologizing for carrying plus size dresses with a label that said the color was "Manatee Gray."
  • With a 30% discount on the Apple iPad, rumors about the next version is about to be released.
  • Members of the old Mary Tyler Moore show -- Mary herself, Valerie Harper, Betty White, Cloris Leachman and Georgia Engel -- enjoyed a bit of reunion on TV Land's "Hot in Cleveland." They taped the episode last week, it'll air in September.
  • Rumor has it that FOUR NFL players are about to "come out of the closet" on the same day.
  • The most popular baby names of 2013 so far: For boys, Bruce and Christian; for girls, Marnie, Marlowe, Nelly and Mavis.
  • Sears has announced that all 800 of their photo studios are going to close.
  • Katey Sagal is going to guest-star on "Glee" as somebody's mom.
  • The American Laughing Championship was held Sunday in San Diego. [It was all fun and games to one contestant grossed everyone out by breaking his leg.]
  • WALMART WORKER HONORED FOR RETURNING CASH LEFT IN CART _ Bismark Mensah has been awarded the Integrity in Action Award by his employer, Walmart. Last October he was collecting carts outside a Federal Way, Washington, Walmart and found a white envelope stuffed with $20,000. He turned it in to his manager and the owner got it all back. Bismark could have used the money. He'd arrived in the U.S. from Ghana just eight months before.
  • BAGGAGE HANDLER ACCUSED OF STEALING $84K IN BELONGINGS _ A Minneapolis-St. Paul airport baggage handler was busted last week after prosecutors say he was caught on tape stealing valuables from the bags of passengers. David Vang allegedly walked away with $84,000 worth of passengers' belongings over an eight month period. Guns, jewelry and watches were among the items prosecutors say he stuffed into his backpack.
  • WOMAN CLAIMS SHE HAD FIVE FUNERALS _So maybe you've done this. You really, REALLY need a couple of days off, but you have no vacation left. You're not sick, so you pull the old "my great aunt died" scam. A British social worker lied her way to 66 days of bereavement leave, concocting death stories about five people in her life. She said her ex-husband had hanged himself, her mother died in surgery, and her brother, aunt and uncle had died within a week.
  • A new study analyzed the zodiac signs of England's 1,000 richest people, to see which astrological signs were the most common.  The top three were Gemini, Capricorn, and Aries.  And Scorpio was the least common. 
  • EVIL DEAD REMAKE SCARES UP $30.5 MILLION - The remake of 1981 cult classic Evil Dead won the box office over the weekend, taking in $26 million.
  • It's the end of an era, folks . . . the Sears Portrait Studios just shut down.  A company called CPI Corp. runs them in ALL Sears locations, plus about 20% of the studios at Walmart and Babies "R" Us.  But with more digital cameras and fewer people getting photos taken, they just couldn't stay in business anymore.
  • Last week in Russia, a 39-year-old man tried to win back his ex-wife . . . by almost BLOWING HER UP.  He anonymously gave her a present that turned out to be a HOMEMADE BOMB.  She suffered several broken bones and lost a finger.  He told the cops he figured the bomb would make her realize, quote, "he is her sole protector."  He's facing attempted murder charges.
  • A jail in Maine has ordered the kitchen to only serve peeled bananas to inmates . . . so they can't smoke the peels.
