  • Psy is apologizing, Gangnam-style, for an anti-American rap song he sang back in 2004. Of course, when you hit it big, those things come out of the woodwork.
  • So Kanye gave Kim Kardashian a kitten. Then Kim realized she was allergic, so she gave it sister Khoe's assistant. Sad to say, the kitten has died at the age of four months.
  • Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott and her husband are expecting their first child together.
  • Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera died in a plane crash over the weekend. She was just 43.
  • Toni Braxton had to be hospitalized in Los Angeles due to "minor health issues" related to her lupus.
  • ESPN reporter Samantha Steele and Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder are engaged.
  • 88-year-old former President George H.W. Bush remains in stable condition in his third week of hospitalization in Houston for treatment of a bronchitis-related cough.
  • Ed Cassidy, the drummer who teamed with his stepson, guitarist Randy California, to create the 1960s Los Angeles rock group Spirit, has died. He was 89. Their biggest hit: "I Got a Line on You."
  • They're keeping a close eye on Kate Middleton. Having a challenging pregnancy.
  • "Meggings"? Leggings, for guys? No...
  • Bravo was doing a story on Lindsay Lohan's Beverly Hills home when she suddenly called the shooting to a stop -- as apparently she's fallen behind on payments.
  • Online holiday shopping is up 13% over last year.
  • The world's number one male tennis player, Novak Djokovic, is cornering the market on a rare and expensive cheese that's considered a delicacy in his native Serbia. It's made from the milk of a donkey. He plans to feature the exotic cheese in a chain of restaurants he's starting. [Someday soon kids all across Serbia will be begging their parents to take them to Donk E. Cheese.]
  •  The White House has joined Pinterest, just in time for the holidays. The image-based social network allows users to post photos and graphics on boards. This month, the White House will use it to display its holiday decorations.
  • WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE WHEN THE ENGINE FAILS IN AN ULTRALIGHT _ Seen the video of the couple flying in an ultralight when their engine fails? The pilot quickly finds a two-lane road on which to land, and all seems to be going fine until the ultralight's wheel catches the edge of the road -- or something. Luckily both pilot and passenger are fine.
  • FELON RAMS STOLEN CAR INTO COP CRUISER _ Savannah, Georgia, police say ex-con Michael Brandon Hall was driving a stolen car when he rammed into a police cruiser early Friday morning. He's heading back to prison.
  • AFI ANNOUNCES BEST FILMS OF 2012 _ Argo, Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook and Zero Dark Thirty are among the films on the American Film Institute's list of the 10 best films of 2012. Christopher Nolan's final Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, also made the list.
  • IS THIS 2013's GANGNAM STYLE? _ You won't be able to get this version of Katy Perry's Firework out of your head. Ever.
  • A school in Sweden has BANNED gingerbread men . . . because they're RACIST.  The school wouldn't say WHICH race they're offensive to, just that they're racist.  After parents pushed them, the school changed its mind and said gingerbread men aren't banned because they're racist, they're banned because they're offensive to kids with allergies.
