HOSTING GROUPS: St. Anthony Spirituality Center, Marathon, offers space for groups wanting to use our facility. Organizations (both large and small)  and businesses are welcome to make reservations for a meeting space as well as arrange for meals and overnight lodging at St. Anthony Spirituality Center for group retreats, conferences, management meetings, educational seminars, etc. Reservations for space for anniversaries, family reunions, Baptism, First Communion or Confirmation dinners, staff holiday parties, small wedding receptions, etc. are also available. Please share this information with your families, offices, workplaces and places of worship.

Level II Class Description: Level II computer class is 8-sessions and addresses many of the same  topics covered in Level I, but in greater detail. The focus is on these  general headings: The Desktop, the Control Panel, Windows Features,  Saving and Organizing Files, Internet Explorer, Browsing and Searching  the Internet, Internet Security, and Email.  Using our website www.lephillipsseniorcenter.com and clicking on the “class” link one can review Level I course content if desired. Prerequisites: Level I class or some experience using the keyboard, mouse, internet,  and email. If you currently use a computer at home, you will be quite  comfortable in Level II.

 Tony & Kate Knoll Benefit Fund

On January 30, 2012, Tony Knoll was killed in a logging accident near

 Cornell, Wisconsin, leaving behind five children under the age of 10

 and another baby on the way.  Tony was self-employed and the sole

 provider for his very large family.

 Friends and family have banded together to hold a benefit for the

 Knoll family later this month.  The benefit will include a dinner and

 silent auction, with all proceeds going directly to Tony’s wife and

 children.  We contact you today in hopes that you would be willing to

 provide a donation for the benefit.  Gift certificates, products,

 cooking supplies, monetary donations, or anything that you are able to

 provide would be deeply appreciated.  All donations are tax-deductible

 and receipts will be provided at your request.

Introduction to Snowshoeing

ECCT Auditions "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers"

7 pm. Auditions for roles in SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS will be held Monday, February 6, and Tuesday, February 7, at 7:00 p.m., at ECCT, 1814 Oxford Avenue, Eau Claire. There are singing/dancing roles, singing/non-dancing roles, and speaking/non-singing roles available for eighteen males and ten females ages high school to adult.

Four performances are scheduled March 29-April 1 at the State Theatre.

Time for prayer together, a presentation by either Mary Yessa or Fr. Tom Zelinski, quiet time, closing prayer service and blessing. WELLNESS WORKSHOP RECLAIMING YOUR INNER BALANCE: St. Anthony Spirituality Center, Marathon, is offering a workshop held on Saturday, February 18, 2012. The only place we can create peace is within ourselves. Kathy and Doris will share tools for honoring our body-spirits, leading to peaceful wholeness. Each presentation will be followed by projects directed toward personal integration.  Experience yoga, tai chi and concepts from many traditions – as well as optional offerings like chair massage, spiritual direction, etc. Deeply interested in helping others toward inner wholeness, Doris and Kathy have given other well-received programs at St. Anthony’s. Carol will lead participants in yoga and tai chi at the end of the workshop. *Please note that the $10.00 massage fee will be paid directly to the therapists. Presenters: Kathy Mitchell, Doris Link-Schreiber and Carol Duval. Begins at 9:00 a.m. and concludes by 3:30 p.m. Noon meal is  included in the Day. Offering: $40.00.
